Taken from Late Guest At The Party’s new album, Repeater is a rock-ish romp that showcases some 90’s brit pop influences infused with some electronic flourishes.
Somewhere between electropop and dubstep, sonically that is, we have Deja. Vocally it’s more along the line of Annie’s electropop dance tunes, but more ethereal.
This synth wave track is right inline with Kavinsky’s electropop soundtrack sound of the 80’s. With huge drums, prominently placed synth bassline and it’s harmonically minor scale sound. It’s full of emotion and would be well suited in a movie soundtrack.
