The first time I ran into Mystery Skulls was on bandcamp looking through the best of electronic category. I was not disappointed, in fact Mystery Skulls was on of the best finds thus far. Ghost is his latest outing and lives up to the best of sound.
Thief – Closer
Fans of Miike Snow and Discovery should enjoy this deep beat with twinkling synths and warm vocals from PJ Wolf. The entire EP is a treat and will be added to my iPod ASAP!
Michael O – Invincible
Michael O (aka Michael Odokara-Okigbo), better know for his lead singing in the a cappella group Dartmouth Aires on NBC’s the “Sing-Off” is about to release his debut solo EP, “In the Beginning…” From which we have the first cut entitled, “Invincible”. Invincible sports a 808-esque bassline with Michael’s smooth vocals. Interesting builds and creative use of his voice makes this track standout.
