The Toxic Avenger – Lies (ft. Look Mum No Computer)

I never get tired of hearing analogue synth goodness and that’s exactly what you get with this new track from The Toxic Avenger. That rezzy bass and white noise percussion married with the vocals hits my bliss point. And then add solid Choreography, well it just takes everything to another level. Some of the best music videos, in my opinion, are those that incorporate dance. This video was shot at a soviet Ukraine publishing house which produced governmental newspapers for whole country. JUICYPEAR – Rollercoaster

Track has that feel good energy all over it. It’s a bit modern disco with some strong soul vibes. That warm muted bass line with the glossy electric piano is the perfect bed for the warm vocals of Jasmine Mayeda. The overall production is spot on and feels like it should blaring at the pool party at sunset. Has a warm glow to the whole thing. The perfect setup to the dance party.

Edwin Organ – Self Alarm

A bit electropop and whole much more indie pop with a delectable melody. Reminds me a bit of Talking Heads in terms of that tropical vibe mixed with indie sensibilities they sometimes reached. Edwin’s voice once again lands perfectly in the pocket – here is the first tune from him I posted.

This is what Edwin had to say about the track: “We’ve all been there before. The relationship you know is no good, but time and time again you keep going back to them only to be chewed up and spat out in a big gummy mess. It never works out, so listen to your Self Alarm, its looking out for you.”
