Home Video – The Automatic Process

Always felt that Home Video sat nicely between Depeche Mode and Radiohead, with their mix of dark electronic bubbles and sustained vocals that remind me of Thom Yorke.

Home Video is about to release thier latest effort this Friday titled, “The Automatic Process” — from which we have the title track.

This track is beautifully dark and engaging.  Something that is soothing to the ear but also tingged with an uneasyness that is often felt when walking alone late at night.

Most  definitely  an early pick for my best of list for 2011.

Greenville Massive – Everything (ft. Kat Boelskov)

Moody electro house here from Greenville Massive, featuring Kat Boelskov on vocals.  Let this track  penetrate  for a good two minutes for the full effect.  They combine a dark brooding bassline, a deep kick and off world organ stabs to set the mood for Kat’s vocals, a job well done.

In March 2010, Greenville Massive (Aalborg, Denmark) released their first EP,
Heute Nacht, on Soul Sheep Music (SSM).
The EP was received with airtime on Danish national radio show Unga Bunga (a part of P3)
and the title track was included on playlists by DJs all around the world.

The follow-up to Heute Nacht, the Widowmaker EP, was released in July 2010,
and included a remix by German DJ and producer Siopis (Get Physical, Mangali).
Once again, Unga Bunga showed some love and supported the EP with airtime.

Alongside their studio productions, Greenville Massive has played various gigs,
and are currently working on a new and interesting live line-up.

In early December 2010, Greenville Massive will release their third SSM production,
which will include remixes by
Chris Minus (Sound of Copenhagen) and M.in & Jonas (We Play Minimal, Get Physical).
