The captivating bass-line starts it off and is elevated with Daniel’s exquisite soulful vocals. The pre-chorus lift is perfection. The chords and his voice just gets me, like a solid Stevie Wonder track. Then we are treated to an addictive vocal melody in the chorus. This is how a well structured song should sound. His musical chops (years of formal classical training) shine through out this track. For fans of Sam Sparro and Years & Years

What does one get when you mix a helping dose of Nu-Disco with vocal stylings reminiscent of The Knife? Well you get the latest releases from Maicous, ‘Take My Light’. This is one HOT track that is smooth but grooving. All the textures like the string stabs, rezy bass and laser shots support the vocals that are cool and sensual. Macious (aka Mark Crawford) currently hailing from the UK teamed up with Fox And Riot (F.A.R aka Rhys Oakes) on this outing. Hoping they continue to team up and make more tunes in this genre.

Dance Yourself Clean – Upside Down (feat. Trenton)

The overall vibe on this track is soothing. The vocals of Trenton in the verse sections are tender but in the chorus they turn dreamy and serene. The music is upbeat and warm. The main melody sails along with burst in the chorus to get you moving. Dance Yourself Clean (DYC) started in 2013 as an indie dance party, that eventually evolved to a record label (Lights & Music Collective) and producing original music and remixes.
