New band out of Chicago, comprised of Saam and Jon of Hey Champ, Dan Brunelle of Gemini Club, and Matt Santos (Lupe Fiasco “Superstar). With that line-up my expectations where pretty high, and I was not disappointed. Has some house music elements meshed with hip hop beats and vocal twists ala Discovery.
Architecture In Helsinki – Desert Island
From their 2011 album, Moment Bends is another track that has grown on me with its Men at Work wood flute synth lead line. Its little flourishes of that sort that really catch my eardrums.
