Delicate and haunting is the new track from one of my all time favorite artists, Imogen Heap. She is amidst the creation of her new album and instead of waiting till the entire album is complete, she is releasing the tracks as they are completed. From which we have the following gorgeous piece called, “Lifeline”.
Fun loving and sits nicely between Vampire Weekend and Peter Bjorn and John.
Harking back to those 80’s Industrial, Gothic, Synthpop days are Cold Cave. However, Cold Cave (aka Wesley Eisold) takes care to not just repeat the sound of the 80’s but to push it further for a more relevant sound for today. Very strong Joy Division and New Order vibe on this track. This track is taken from Cold Cave’s second full length titled, “Cherish the Light Years”.
