After touring Europe and spending some time away in the studio honing and perfecting their craft, East London trio Waylayers are back with a 5 track EP entitled ‘Fault Lines’ due in June 2013. Mastered at Abbey Road, Magnets (the EP’s bonus track) is an epic and euphoric track bathed in a fresh pop sensibility and packed full of synths and catchy hooks. The videos for Magnets and S.O.S were directed by Alex Brown, who has worked with the likes of The Maccabees, Klaxons, La Roux and James Blake.

Waylayers consists of Harry Lee (vocals, synths), Dave Norman (bass) and Joe Andrew (guitar). Together they create music that has been described as ?atmospheric pop?. Fusing elements of electronica and indie-rock, they create the characteristic Waylayers? sound.

The band were chosen as Steve Lamacq?s ?Band of the Week? recently on his BBC 6 Music show and were played for consecutive weeks on Dermot O’Leary’s BBC Radio 2 show, as well as receiving rave reviews from the mainstream national music press and blogs. The boys have also been featured on the official Maximo Park remix EP along with Dutch Uncles with their reworking of ‘The National Health’. ‘Fires?, which appeared on the Kitsuné Maison 10 compilation, was produced by Ewan Pearson (Delphic).

The band have begun to announce their festival dates for 2013 which will see them complete one of the most extensive festival circuits of any band in the UK, plus some incredible live sessions and one off shows (details soon!). The band will also be performing their biggest headline show to date in June for their London homecoming at Camden’s KOKO
