This track has been haunting my ipod for a week now and thought it was time to post it up for you all to enjoy. Monsieur Adi’s remix puts a dark cloud over the original and just rains emotion on it.

Sharam (one half of DJ duo Deep Dish) has released a mash up of sorts, which has main vocals by Kid Cudi and a sample from Patsy Cline (Strange). Love tracks that borrow from other musical genres. The other standout tracks that did the same thing with a country western sample or line are:
Kaada – Care
Which showcases a guitar line from a Conway Twitty and a sample of soul singer Juanita Rogers (I’m So Glad You Love Me”).
Bent samples two ballads (“Hurt” & “But I Do”) from country singer Billie Jo Spears and morphs them into a heartbreaking but emotionally engaging track.
Miami Horror – Don’t Be On With Her
Throwing some deep old school flavor on this track, think “When Doves Cry” from Prince and your about 90% there and some Daft Punk filter effects for good measure. This is taken from Miami Horror’s ep, “Bravado”, which features vocals by Josh Moriarty (Peacocks, Young and Restless, Rise and Demise). If you love 80’s at all, be sure to listen to this track — it’s a time warp back to crazy hair and purple guitars.
