Always enamored by Joe Goddard who never cuts corners when he’s tasked to create a remix. He consistently finds a way to embellish and enhance an original track with his clever but well placed vocal snippets and production.
New Build – False Thing
Another off-shot from Hot Chip which includes Felix Martin, Al Doyle and non-chip dude Tom Hopkins. New build teams up with Joy Joseph (vocals) and Sarah Jones (drums) on this electronic infused punk track. Think Talk Heads punk but with more synths.
Still Corners – Berlin Lovers
Melody wise, reminds me of Nirvana’s Team Spirit. On it’s own, it’s the synth work that draws me in and the vocals are a pleasant juxtaposition.
