Full of emotion from the get-go and builds into a full 4 on the floor house jam. Think SBTRKT’s Hold On put pushed in a more uptempo frame.

I sure hope this is a sign of things to come from the forthcoming full length Basement Jaxx album. The last three albums have been a miss for me and really miss their unique blend of house that infuses sounds from all over the world, like their first two albums did (Remedy & Rooty).
Some electronic goodness from the duo known as H A R T E B E E S T. Drums is their latest single and it’s a fun sonic journey.
Short Bio:
Producer duo H A R T E B E E S T return with a second track in the shape of ‘DRUMS’. An expansive and luscious synth laced 4 minutes of blissful guitars, ethereal keys and enchanting falsetto vocals. With a combination of lyrical depth and throwaway simplicity, ‘DRUMS’ juxtaposes gloomy melancholy with carefree youthful decadence, placing haunting cinematic textures alongside floating euphoric hooks.
Following on from previous track ‘death’ they burrow deeper into sophisticated electronic pop excellence to create a moment that encapsulates the bitter warmth of an English summer.
