K.S. Rhoads – Invisible Light

Starts with a warm piano chord sequence that reminds me of The Beatles mixed with a bit of folk and orchestral. It’s beautifully done and exudes warmth and love. Really love the overall feel of this track. K.S. Rhoads is well known in television and movies having produced more then 100 licensed musical tracks. He is well versed in composition and it shines on this track.

Another stand out track is Chess:

Edwin Organ – The River

Fans of Hot Chip should really dig this track. It has that quirky quality that Hot Chip has in their music. The vocals I would say a bit better than Hot Chip since Edwin has a bit more depth to his voice. One of my favorite tracks at the moment – been on heavy rotation at home and in my car.

Edwin has this to say about the track, “The River is a song about love and mistakes. As humans we get caught up in a lot of things. Distractions can really get us in a pickle and its worse when hindsight presents us with all the signs we missed clear as day.”

Music P – Slow Down

Grooving house number with a chilled laid back vibe. Per the artist, “A song born in isolation, where most planes are grounded, most cars parked and almost all people at home.” The vocals are a bit melancholy but that is right up my alley. The vocal melody is also what sold me on this track. Music P is a German Producer/Songwriter and DJ.
