Joe is back with another killer track and this time he teams up with Valentina with a deep moody house track with glitched out vocals and stutters. Short history lesson on Joe Goddard, he is one of two voices for Hot Chip and recently joined forces with Raf Rundell for their project, “The 2 Bears“.

Somewhere between Ladytron and OMD sits this track from Brandy Kills. Brandy Kills is based from the Novosibirsk region of Russia, which would explains the cool factor on this track. What sudeced me was the unintelligible lyrics sung with a truly addictive melody.

Just fresh from their 2nd full length release titled, “When Animals Stare” is this succulent and tender track from The Black Ghosts who have a certain penchant for mixing electronics elements with indie sensibilities. The best description I can come up with is think Andy Gibb (of Bee Gees fame) meeting up with Hot Chip.
