Hooked the first second I heard that synth arpeggiator going from the start of the track. It only got better as the track carries on. It has a gothic vibe mixed with synth pop from the 80’s and modern synth wave. The vocals seduce and pull the listener in till it reaches a crescendo in the chorus with several vocals singing in harmony. This track is for fans of Grimes and Purity Ring.
Got a 80’s esque remix of Limon Limon’s ‘Trying Not To Think About You’. Limon Limon is LA based duo of Jason (Vocals, Guitar, Bass) and Rand (Keys, Synths, Drums). Bit Funk is Brooklyn based, by way of Canada, producer of Disco / Funk / 80’s inspired tunes. Bit Funk takes this track and makes it a shoe in for Miami Vice.
Has a bit of a Cure vibe on this new release from Memoryy. The track is solid on the production end and the melody of the chorus is what caught my ear.
