Simian Mobile Disco has just produced Beth Ditto’s self titled EP, which was released today on Beatport. The EP sports four tracks of disco house music with the seductive voice of one Beth Ditto of Gossip fame.

Off of SMD’s new album, “Temporary Pleasure” which is due out August 17th, comes this collaboration with Jamie Lidell. Tracks takes a couple of listens before is starts to grow on you, but those tend to be the best tracks. Really love the lead synth line over the chorus, that’s something special as well as the Soft Cell – Sex Dwarf esque squeals.

Just got this in my inbox (thanks Merlin!), latest track from Simian Mobile Disco forthcoming effort getting a remix treatment by Naum Gabo (aka Jonnie Wilkes & James Savage). I think it needs more cowbell though 🙂
