Latest track from Sade’s forthcoming album due out in February 8th 2010. This track is a slight departure from Sade’s signature sound and features more edgier sounds such as hard rockin’ guitar licks and military-esque snare drum hits. But I suppose that latter is to tie into the “Soldier” theme of the track. Also this track features more modern hip hop elements.
Latest track from the forthcoming album from Hot Chip is a electronic burner that steadily moves along with a steel drum accompaniment. The old analogue synths on this track remind me of the types of sounds Depeche Mode would use in their early years, which is a treat for this D-mode fan.
Enjoying the melancholy of this electronic pop track from Chew Lips. Must admit this fits nicely between my Hot Chip and Little Dragon tunes on my ipod. They are set to release a full lenght this coming January.
