  • Black Light Dinner Party – Your Drums, Your Love (AlunaGeorge Cover)

    Just got this cover from Black Light Dinner Party of AlunaGeorge’s track, “Your Drums, Your Love” and it’s  the vocals that are the standout for me.  Don’t get wrong, the original sampled vocal hook is great, but there is something more personal with this take.

  • Alison Moyet – Filigree

    Got my hands on the new Alison Moyet album that was produced by Guy Sigsworth (the other half of Frou Frou) and in a word it’s, wow!  What a perfect combo to produce a great album together.
    My favorite track is Filigree, since it sounds straight out of a Yazoo album.  Other notable tracks are ‘Right as Rain’ (upbeat track), ‘Horizon Flame’, and  ‘Changeling’ which is very Frou Frou.  I for one am very happy Alison has returned to her electronic roots.
