21 year old Santa Fe New Mexico native Zach Condon otherwise known as Beirut release a beautiful album this year entitled, “The Flying Club Cup”, which is named after a “hot air ballon festival in Paris”. This track combines elements such as Eastern Euro and folk sounds with playfulness and heart.

My favorite track off of Felix Da Housecat’s new album is “MovieDisco” with its Kraftwerk type synths and ladytron-ish vocals

The fourth studio album, “Seventh Tree” by British electronic duo Goldfrapp is scheduled for release by Mute Records on February 26, 2008. Goldfrapp have described the album as a “sensual counterpoint to the glitterball glamour of Supernature”, their last studio album of new material in 2005. The album’s first single, “A&E”, is scheduled to be released on February 12, 2008.
The cut we have for you today is called “Little Bird”. I dig the psychedelic sounds, beatles-esque bass line, and etheral vocals on this track. The album as a whole is major departure from “Supernature”.
Give this track at least a listen up to the 2:40 mark to really get the effect of this track.
