Twin Shadow – Five Seconds
Hip hip hooray for New Wave! Yes, if this track doesn’t conjure up images from 80’s John Hughes classics like The Breakfast Club, Some Kind of Wonderful, and Pretty in Pink then I guess nothing will. This is so steeped in New Wave bliss and I love it.
Twin Shadow is the stage name of American musician George Lewis Jr who is about to release his sophomore effort, Confess which “Five Seconds” can be found on.

Equatuer – Haunted
The french duo Equatuer (Romain Nouhi & Charles Rocher) have produced a wonderful New Wave track called, “Haunted”. From the initial second this track started to play, my ears instantly started smiling — well, you know what I mean.
