  • The Reverb Junkie – The Chance

TheReverbJunkieMichelle Chamuel is back with a new EP, I Am,  under The Reverb Junkie moniker.  My favorite cut from this new ep is “The Chance”.  It’s the melody of “If you had the chance” that sounds so lovely.

    Lyrics:
If you had the chance, would you take it all and run?

Tell me that you’re gonna love me better than the others in our past,
    there’s a wave of destruction.
I don’t want to hear the words you said to anybody else,
I want it to be something new.

    Oh, I only want you.

If you had the chance, would you take it all and run?

Always like I’m being tested, everybody watching
and I can’t break away from these feelings.
Worried that you’re gonna leave me,
just like everybody in my past. I don’t know what is true.

    Oh, I only want you.

If you had the chance, would you take it all and run?

  • Ducky – Rain Dance

    Ducky

Hypnotic quality to this track from Ducky.

    Bio:

LA-based producer, @ducky, releases her three-track EP, ‘Lost Angeles’, today on NEST.

Since her early teenage years, DUCKY has been fully immersed in club culture. She worked the door and started off her DJ career in San Francisco with the help of a fake ID before dropping out of high school at 17 and heading to NYU where she continued working on her own music. Over the last few years, she’s built a catalog of original works and remixes which mirror her influences in grime, techno, experimental, ambient, footwork and more, with her original productions often featuring her own distinct vocals.

This year, following a move to LA and a recent EP release through Parisian imprint B.YRSLF DIVISION, DUCKY continues to shape her sound with a new EP on NEST. The upcoming three-track Lost Angeles pack is a scenic stroll through winding four-four environments, eventually landing at the crisp foothills of “Winter Song” — a track whose expressive aesthetic could easily fit within the setlists of artists like Jamie xx and Four Tet.

    AllMyLOve

Memoryy has just released this wonderfully entertaining video for his latest single, “All My Love”.  Of course the song itself is one of my fav’s this year but this video adds a whole other dimension.
