It’s the chorus that sold me on this track that reminds me of Years & Years whom I hold in high regard. They, like Years & Years, have a tropical vibe to their music. The song describes the self harm we do but ultimately it’s the realization we can turn it around. I like the Nine Inch Nails esque guitar in the bridge. Dance able indie pop with a sweet melody. Five piece band from the US that have created an upbeat track to salute the upcoming summer season. Groove is locked and the vocal melody hits perfectly.
