Kleerup (who is easily one of my favorite electronic producers) teamed up with Cyndi Lauper in 2008 to release “Lay Me Down”. Kleerup re-released “Lay Me Down” as an instrumental named “Thank You for Nothing” on his 2009 self titled debut album.
There was a rumor that Kleerup re-named “Lay Me Down” as “Thank You for Nothing” in response to Cyndi Lauper not allowing him to include the track on his own release, but this was later declared a false rumor by Kleerup.
