Rey Pila – Let It Burn

One of my favorite finds this year is Rey Pila. Think a cross between Sparks and The Presets with a splash of Interpol for good measure. Their latest release, ‘Let it Burn‘, which was produced by Dave Sitek (TV On the Radio), is my favorite track from them thus far. However Disciples IV is a very close second.

Rey Pila is a four-piece band from Mexico City. Rey Pila translates to ‘King Battery’.

Race Banyon – We Need It

This track grew on me the more I listened. It’s a slow burner minimal deep house number. The song has a nice ebb and flow from beginning to end. This track can be found on his upcoming ‘EP2’ which will be released on July 7th.

Luxgaze – Vivaldi’s Fall

Start the week off right with this laid back Trip Hop track from Luxgaze. I like the mix of classical and jazz over a Trip Hop beat. This track has summer written all over it. Luxgaze is an artist from Toronto, Canada.
