Back with another track from Computer Club, this time he lifts the best part of the original, which was the bridge and reworks it for a floor banger. You can listen to the original on Wired All Wrong’s myspace page here.
If you like Jamiroquai, this should be right up your alley, albeit a hard dance version of Jamiroquai.
Upbeat euro inspired house track with jamming vocals by Will Curry. This is the first track from my new collaboration called, Drop and Solo (aka Drolo) with Will Curry (aka Drop). We are currently in studio writing new material for an upcoming release, more news to follow shortly. We also have a site up at www.dropandsolo.com.
Computer Club comes out swing with this mad jam that features a funky vibe and vocals by Frankmusik. BTW: You may want to turn this one down if your at work, just an FYI.
Monarchy is a duo based out of the UK, and are taking the Daft Punk approach to secret identities. Not much is know about them other than they produces stellar electronic pop. Black the Colour of My Heart is my favorite track of theirs thus far with it’s soulful vocal delivery and it’s minimal drum backing. Reminds me of a mix between Sam Sparro (Black and Gold) and Maroon 5.
Year of The Tiger is Sable & Henry who appear to have only started producing music together since December of 09. In a word, “WOW”. Excellent production adorns all their tracks, and Sable’s voice has that bit of edge that I always love from a vocalist. You don’t know if she wants to beat you up or wants to seduce you, but either way it’s going to be exciting.
Interesting mix of electronic beats and acoustic instruments. This track can be found on newly released full lenght titled, “The Family Jewels”. Hopefully this track will get the remix treatment, it’s has all the elements for a smoldering dance floor jam.
Here’s a remix which I made into a electronic pop feel good track with a slight Caribbean influence. In other words it’s my version of a what if — what if Hot Chip collided with Vampire Weekend — well, I think it would sound something like this:
