Aili x Transistorcake – Dansu

If you have never watched, or more importantly, never listened to music from Killing Eve you are missing out. Not only is the show well done but who ever the music supervisor is, my hat is off to them. The show showcases some of the best 60’s/70’s inspired pop and rock with a bit of international flair. And this is exactly what we have with the new track from Aili and Transistorcake. The track is sung in both Japanese and English and sports a 60’s esque bass guitar that drives the tune. And let’s not forget rocking beat that underpins the whole track.

Curly Jefferson – The Sneak

Been meaning to post Curly Jefferson for months now, and here it finally is.   If you’re fan of Bent or Koop this will probably strike a chord with you.  Curly Jefferson mixes speakeasy vibes with orchestral elements to make a most intoxicating sound.   With splashes of Bossa Nova, Spy and Big Band, Curly Jefferson showcases it all in a Jazz infused wrapper.  This surely not to be missed.  You can grab the entire EP for free from dedpop.co.uk here.

He also has another project called, Rykard which is more ambient/IDM.
