Vocally this reminds me of Erlend Øye, and musically it reminds me of “The Whitest Boy Alive” remixes which feature Erlend Øye on vocals. That’s a compliment by the way, and I love the new direction Dan Snaith has taken with his latest offering. “Swim” is due out April 19th.
“I got excited by the idea of making dance music that’s liquid in the way it flows back and forth, the sounds slosh around in pitch, timbre, pan…dance music that sounds like it’s made out of water rather than made out of metallic stuff like most dance music does,” Snaith says
