Justin Martin – The Fugitive

Going back in the day (circa 2003) for this deep house number from one Justin Martin.   Fun bouncy sticky bass and well placed vocal snippets carry this track.

Bio from Discogs:
Justin Martin’s sound is both – melodic and tough. Justin first gained international acclaim for his single (“The Sad Piano”) on Ben Watt’s Buzzin’ Fly label. The single made its way into many A-List DJ crates as well as jumping on to Pete Tong’s Buzz chart, being selected as a “sureplayer” by DJ Magazine, and being dubbed “single of the week” by Update magazine in the UK. Justin Martin has established himself as the next generation of San Francisco house with the skills to hang with the current masters. Also, Justin Has been nominated as “Best Breakthrough DJ” by the 2004 international House Music Awards.

Phonique – Our Time Our Chance (ft. Ian Whitelaw)

Phonique has just released his third studio album, Kissing Strangers.   It’s a deep house journey with featured vocalist including Ian James Whitelaw.  The combo of Phonique with Ian Whitelaw previously produced one of my all time favorite deep house tracks from 2004:

Phonique – You, That I’m With (Ft. Ian James Whitelaw)

Here is there latest collab:

Lryics:

I know what I want
Come to me
I know what I need
Let this be
It do feel right
Making me feel whole
Don’t say goodbye
Don’t you say goodbye
Why

I want you I need you I know this is our time
This is our chance
This is our time our chance ‘ooh

When I hold you
The way you feel
I am shaking now
I know its real
Slow down I tell myself though
I want to shout it out

I want you I need you I know this is our time
This is our chance
This is our time our chance ooh

It might seem
it might seem oh to be moving to fast
But I feel wooh
If you ain’t gonna take this chance
Then why? you may never know
May always ask why
Didn’t I go didn’t I go didn’t I try for you

Alluring deep house track with whispered vocal  snippets  sprinkled    throughout.

Pitch Twit – Treatment

Bio:

Pitch Twit is the pseudonym of  Yorkshire  musician and producer Tom Sidebottom.

Pitch Twit’s knack for electronic dance music and twisting sounds and melody to accentuate his percussive thumps are his signature and one listen to “Bulletproof,” and I think you agree that Pitch Twit is far from being like his namesake. In fact, he’s anything but.

“Believe me, this piece of music will once be seen as a milestone of the development of electronic music.  Pitch Twit, I take my hat off — Thanks.” — Dancen Dancen Music Blog
