Hailing from Washington DC, Benoit & Sergio are an electronic-pop duo whose sound owes as much to Galaxie 500 or The Jesus & Mary Chain as to any house or techno pioneers. Their debut EP, “What I’ve Lost,” was released in November of 2009 on Bruno Pronsato’s record label, thesongsays. Boldly unfashionable, What I’ve Lost is a rich and charismatic record that effortlessly brings a pop sensibility to a techno framework.

George Fitzgerald – Silhouette

Going back in the day (circa 2003) for this deep house number from one Justin Martin.   Fun bouncy sticky bass and well placed vocal snippets carry this track.

Pitch Twit is the pseudonym of Yorkshire musician and producer Tom Sidebottom.

Pitch Twit’s knack for electronic dance music and twisting sounds and melody to accentuate his percussive thumps are his signature and one listen to “Bulletproof,” and I think you agree that Pitch Twit is far from being like his namesake. In fact, he’s anything but.

“Free” is the beautifully crafted and eagerly awaited second artist album from the lovely Lisa Shaw. Written and produced by Dave Warrin and Lisa Shaw featuring guest producers Miguel Migs, Ethan White from Tortured Soul and Tim K, “Free” is Lisa’s latest studio effort since her debut album “Cherry” on Naked Music released in 2005.

“Free” showcases Lisa’s illustrious voice through a sublime mix of electronic, soul and RnB lovingly packed on one disc. Her voice can be one best described as the ‘dance/electronic Sade’, both aching and soothing. Featured on the album are new house classics such as “Feel”, “All Night High” and “Music In You”, as well as sultry downtempo beauties like “Better Days”, and “Honey”. Throughout her career Lisa Shaw has been a proven staple in the deep house world. Seldom does a track have such a story behind it as Kiloo & Phoniques ‚The Passion! It was three or four years ago in an online Deep-House forum that this warming tale began. Featured during a particularly on-form Laurent Garnier mix, came a track that immediately caused quite a stir. A whos who of Deep-House heads from Ame to Dixon were up in arms about this ‚phantom track, that no-one could place. Could it be an old undiscovered rarity that theyd all missed, or a new, unreleased, secret production…? Eventually, a track-listing was provided for Garniers mix, and the artist was revealed to be the little-known but instantly respected ‚Kiloo aka Pascal Saussac. Phoniques connection with the artist was forged after another of the newcomers tracks, ‚The Game of Love, was signed tothe Parisian label Plays Cool. Having already been well respected on the French house scene, Phonique was asked to remix the track and so their relationship grew. Originally, ‚The Passion was sent to Laurent Garniers F-Comm imprint, but remained unsigned, and so for a long time it had no home, however Phonique always believed that it deserved a platform for release to the world. Lovin’ the bass hook on this track.  ESG (Emerald Sapphire & Gold) was an all girl group from South Bronx, New York circa 1978 to 1990′s.  They mix Soul, Funk, Disco, and New Wave all into their own dance vibe, which would probably be labeled “Deep House” now-a-days.  This track was originally released in 1982 on ESG’s EP titled, “ESG Says Dance To The Beat of Moody”.
