File this under the better late than never category. There are some tracks that make it to my iPod and get heavy rotation and yet I somehow forget to post on Audiodrums. This is one such example, with a killer vocal and deep house production, this track will be on many best of lists for 2014.
“Death Is A Girl” is the first single from their upcoming album, The Great Pretenders, due in early 2015 on T Bone Burnett’s Electromagnectic Recordings.
Mini Mansions are T Bone Burnett’s first signing, and also likely the only record you’ll hear that features both Brian Wilson and Arctic Monkeys’ Alex Turner. Drummer Michael Shuman in the band is also bassist for Queens of the Stone Age.
