The three member band known as Venus Hum formed in Nashville in 1999 and have previously opened for Stereolab back in 2002. They combine synth-pop with rock and electronica to great effect. If you like electronic pop with great vocals then Venus Hum is for you, so check’em at their myspace page.

Viva Voce from Portland, Oregon have sweet an indie, psychedelic sound.   The group formed back in 1998 and recently have placed several of their tunes on national ad campaigns such as All laundry detergent (“Fashionably Lonely”), Microsoft Zune (“Special Thing”), and Motorola (“Lession No. 1”).   Apparently they are doing something right.
